23 y/o Saylorsburg man operating a farm tractor died after a crash with two vehicles on Rt 209 in Gilbert

On 08/24/2021 at 2245hrs, PSP, Monroe County Sherrif's, West End Volunteer Fire Company, Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company, West End Ambulance, Suburban EMS and Wind Gap EMS were dispatched to 1354 Rt 209 in Gilbert in front of West End Printing for a 3 Vehicle MVA involving a Farm Tractor.

Dalton Davidson (23), of Saylorsburg, was operating a farm tractor and slowing for a right turn when he was rear-ended by an SUV on the southbound side of State Route 209 Tuesday around 10:40 p.m., according to State Police.

Davidson was ejected from the tractor, which overturned.

He was airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, where was pronounced dead at 5:09 Wednesday morning.

The operator of the Subaru that hit Davidson's Farm Tractor, Alice Weaver (74) of Lehighton and the passenger Harry Weaver (74) also of Lehighton were entrapped in their vehicle and had to be Extricated and were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono with unknown injuries. Alice Weaver was issued a citaion for speeding.

There was a fourth person transported to the hospital.

The Pensylvania State Police are still investigating the accident.
