A jury Monday acquitted Christopher Lee Gerenday, 51, of Brodheadsville, of driving under the influence and careless driving, but convicted Gerenday of driving with a license suspended from a previous DUI case, said defense attorney David Skutnik.

Gerenday was sentenced immediately after the verdict to 90 days in Monroe County Correctional Facility and ordered to pay a $500 fine, said Skutnik. Gerenday had been charged Nov. 26 in this case after being stopped in Chestnuthill Township.
