It was a brush and tire fire started by a resident who thought it was a good idea to burn leaves and tires on a dry windy day. Six fire companies were brought in to fight the blaze. Nearby residents were asked by the fire companies who responded to remain in their homes in case evacuation of people and pets was required. This was a colossal waste of emergency resources because of the stupidity of the actions of a resident, and I hope this resident faces legal charges and severe fines because of their stupidity and lack of common sense.
