He got away with it once, but not twice, said state police.

Maybe it's because Shane Juscavage, 27, of Effort, had a gun when robbing the nearby Dunkin Donuts on Nov. 14, but only a knife when trying to rob the same business again Wednesday, police said. Employees and customers tackled Juscavage in the parking lot, after he exited the building with $429 taken from the drive-thru register, and held him there until police arrived.

Juscavage was charged in the Nov. 14 incident with three counts of robbery, three counts of simple assault, three counts of terroristic threats, two counts of theft, two counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of reckless endangerment. He was ordered placed in Monroe County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 bail and will be scheduled for a future district court appearance.

Juscavage had not yet been charged in this second incident as of Wednesday, court records showed.

At 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14, Juscavage entered the building, displayed a revolver, demanded money and jumped the counter, taking about $300 from the register and then fleeing, police said.

At 10:38 a.m. Wednesday, he again entered the business, displayed a steak knife, demanded money and went behind the counter to the drive-thru register. He was tackled in the parking lot after exiting with money taken.

Although I am so very proud that these people stopped this person, I feel a bit frightened over their action. I thank God no one who took action against this individual were hurt. On the other hand you guys ROCk for saying NO MORE!
