A former Pleasant Valley High School janitor pleaded guilty this week in three Chestnuthill Township cases involving inappropriate contact with minors, said defense attorney James Swetz.

Robert Pini Jr., 31, of Effort, pleaded guilty to corrupting a minor, a 15-year-old girl in this case, when they spent the night at her friend's house in February 2014. Charges withdrawn against Pini include sexual contact with a student, unlawful contact with a minor, endangering a child's welfare, indecent assault on a person under age 16 and furnishing liquor to a minor. Also withdrawn was a charge of corrupting-a-minor.

Pini pleaded guilty to endangering a child's welfare and unlawful contact with a minor, a 16-year-old girl he initially was accused of having sexual contact with in September. Charges withdrawn against him in this case include corrupting a minor, sexual contact with a student and institutional sexual assault on a minor.

Pini pleaded guilty in a November case to hindering prosecution against him by concealing or destroying evidence.
