After a brief Thursday morning standoff involving a police Special Weapons And Tactics team, a fugitive was arrested on Stonecrest Road in Blakeslee.

Henry Koroma, 28, had been wanted in Ohio on a probation violation originating from a robbery case, Pocono Mountain Regional Police said.

Police arrived at the Stonecrest Road residence where they learned Koroma was at the time. Koroma refused to exit the residence and a SWAT team was called to the scene, police said.

After negotiations were initiated, Koroma finally exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident. Police then searched the residence, finding cocaine, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills and five handguns.

Koroma was charged with being a fugitive resisting arrest, drug possession with intent to deliver, possessing a gun while having a criminal record, criminally using a communication device, having a gun with the serial number obliterated and receiving stolen property. Ebony Ortiz, 22, DeShawn Franklin, 20, Arthur Pultz, 61, and Teri Pultz, 52, all of Blakeslee, were arrested and charged with drug possession with intent to deliver.

All are awaiting district court hearings.
