Motor Vehicle Accident Rt 33 South MM 25.8 involving a West End Ambulance

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP: Just be for 2:30 am Monroe County Control Center received a radio call from West End Ambulance 825 telling them that they are off the roadway and rolled down an embankment several times and they are entrapped near the first Snydersville Exit. The female on the radio stated that she was being held in by her seatbelt.

MCCC dispatched State Police, Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder, Suburban EMS 18-25 and West End Ambulance 8-22 to Rt 33 South mile marker 25.8 at 02:27 am.

State Police and EMS 18-20 were having a hard time finding West End Ambulance 8-25 as they were below eye level, 8-25 did turn on their emergency lights to help everyone to find them.

State Police did locate the ambulance and 18-20 was right behind them, upon arrival Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder shut down Rt 33 South.

State Police say that there were 3 people in in the ambulance at the time and only minor injuries.

UPDATE: 04:54 am Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder is clear and available.
