Motorcycle Accident 238 Rt 115 Saylorsburg

ROSS TOWNSHIP: 10:14 pm There is a Motorcycle Accident at 238 Rt 115 in Saylorsburg, the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet and is unconscious but breathing. Fire OIC has requested Air Medical be put on stand-by.

UPDATE: 10:21 pm EMS is requesting the MedEvac to fly.

UPDATE: 10:24 pm Fire OIC reports the Landing Zone will be at Scott Farms and requested Wind Gap Fire to close down Rt 115 at Mountain Rd.

UPDATE: 10:32 pm Due to ground fog MedEvac cannot land in Saylorsburg, Fire OIC requesting if MedEvac will land in Wind Gap where there is no ground fog.

UPDATE: 10:38 pm MCCC informed Fire OIC that all MedEvac's are grounded due to weather so the patient will have to be transported via ambulance to LVH-Pocono.

UPDATE: 11:08 pm 23-8 requested PennDOT to close down Rt 115 at Mt Eaton Rd and to relieve Wind Gap at Mountain Rd.

Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder, West End Ambulance, Wind Gap Ambulance, and State Police responding.
