One person seriously injured in Chestnuthill crash

One person was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a crash on Merwinsburg Road in Chestnuthill Township. The crash occurred as the driver was headed west and failed to negotiate a slight curve in the roadway. The vehicle left the right berm impacting with a utility pole. The site is just east of the intersection with Valley Road. State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the incident.
