Pleasant Valley High School Student Charged with Terroristic Threats

CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP: State Police from the Fern Ridge Barracks responded yesterday (April 4th, 2018 12:54 pm) to Pleasant Valley High School due to a Threat that was posted on Social Media.

The Juvenile Male Suspect was immediately identified by school police officers and was detained.

State Police have charged the Juvenile Male Suspect with Terroristic Threats, but have not released the specific nature of the posted Threat.

We have heard from several Pleasant Valley High School parents that it was a SnapChat post about shooting up the school but this is an unconfirmed claim.

    I would be interested to know if this boy was being bullied before he made this threat. Not that it’s a good reason but it could be the cause. They should investigate his whole experience in high school to see what led up to this decision.

      There is no reason at all to make any threat towards a school or anywhere else. Any child or adult that makes a threat with all that is going on nowadays deserves whatever punishment he or she gets.

    When a child is bullied, henor she needs to nip it in the bud. This passive attitude leads to frustration, which leads to a break down or a full on beat down.
    The children need to be taught to stop it themselves, a fist fight only causes pain, no one dies, frustrations run their course, and the 2 involved become known and you handle it from there. This no tolerance crap is just that, no one lives in that fantasy world, it’s not real. Be real, be pro active, teach self defense, self worth, etc….

    Of course the public won’t be told of his name for his protection as a juvenile. But should he follow thru in the future and kill children and adults oh well.
