The Monroe County 911 Call Center’s phone’s are down

At 2:35 pm The Monroe County 911 call Center broadcasted that their phone system is down and requested all Fire and EMS stations to man their stations incase of walk ups and to contact the call center only by radio.

If you have an emergency go to your Fire, EMS or Police station.

Update 3:30 pm: According to Monroe County 911 Control Center Officials the 911 phone system continues to be intermittent at this time.

Update 3:49: The Monroe County 911 Control Center reports that the phone system is up and running and all stations can stand down and resume normal operations.
