Tobyhanna Couple accused of forging the signatures of neighbors who owned property in East Stroudsburg
STROUDSBURG - Nadzhibe A BARZEVA, age 32 of Tobyhanna and Shukri T TALIPOV, age 35 also from Tobyhanna, were arraigned today before Magisterial District Judge Kristina ANZINI after charges were filed by detectives from the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney related to the filing of a fraudulent document. Both Ms. BARZEVA and Mr. TALIPOV are accused of forging the signatures of neighbors who owned property along Pinecrest Drive in East Stroudsburg. The document, a ROAD AGREEMENT, containing the alleged signatures of four property owners and the alleged notary seal of two notaries, was filed with the Monroe County Recorder of Deeds on March 3rd, 2017. The signatures of the property owners and the notary seals turned out to be forgeries.
Ms. BARZEVA and Mr. TALIPOV were charged with forgery, uttering of forged documents, identity theft, unsworn falsification to authorities, and tampering with public records. The defendants were released on $25,000.00 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Monday, January 13th, 2020 before MDJ ANZINI.
