Troopers seek witnesses to Poconos assault that seriously injured man
State police are looking for witnesses to the beating of a 47-year-old man who was left in the Poconos three weeks ago with a serious injury to his head.
The man appears to have been beaten about 11 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Lakeside Bar in the area of Hamilton South Road and Route 115 in the Saylorsburg area of Hamilton Township, state police at Swiftwater said.
Troopers said the victim was assisted by two men, who appeared to be in their 20s, after the altercation. Police said they want to talk with two men because they may have witnessed the assault.
