Woman Beat Child While Child’s Father Recorded The Abuse
A video recorded by the father of a boy being abused by Michelle (Morton) Elkins and posted by him to his Facebook Page went viral this week and many concerned people started calling police to report the Abuse because it was not stated initially when the Abuse took place.
Pennsylvania State Police were getting calls because Michelle (Morton) Elkins listed on her Facebook Page that has since been removed that she lives in Effort, PA and the Erlanger, KY Police Department were also getting calls since the father and his children now live in Kentucky.
We now know that the video was recorded and the Abuse of the boy took place in July 2014 and it did take place in Effort, PA. We have also learned that Michelle (Morton) Elkins was arrested and prosecuted Received $1600.00 in fines, a month in jail, she is serving 2 years probation, she has to pay supervision fees, she has to take all her medications, and she is not allowed around children, even her own, without adult supervision.
WARNING: The video below is hard to watch, it's not easy watching anyone let alone the father of the child being abused just do nothing to stop the abuse and record the whole thing. Supporters of the father have claimed that he recorded the video as evidence because "nobody believed him" about the abuse, however court records indicated that the abuse was never reported.

He should have instantly been a protective father and left that woman immediately! Don’t sit there letting her beat your child and let your child suffer just to get “proof” of what she was doing, the marks and his words would have been enough proof! He should have stood between them and used the cell she claims he wouldn’t give her to call the cops to get them there so they could see her insanity for themselves vs. subjecting your child to nine nine minutes of being a recorded beating. He should be charged too for not stopping it. By him sitting there just recording it, he is just as guilty by letting it happen!
Having dealt with people in a similar state of rage, I would say the father acted appropriately. Had he physically stepped in it could have sent the woman on a more dangerous course. He maintained his composure and stayed calm. Rather like approaching a wild animal, this is the best course of action. The woman hit the child and spoke horrid things to him but he was not permanently harmed (physically). She could have done much much more. when he saw that she was escalating and not calming down, he removed his children and himself from the situation without a physical altercation that he would the. Have to explain. And unfortunately, video evidence is sometimes the only way to get the authorities involved.
This is crazy. He did the right thing because unfortunately telling the proper authority never helps. You need video evidence these days. I pray those children get the help they need to recover from such horrible words and actions. She should never be allowed to see those children again.
This is the most disgusting thing ive ever seen. Ok you wanted to get evidence you had plenty after the first minute of the video then it should have been stopped. On top of everything else this women only gets one month in jail!!!!!! Are you fucking kidding me somebody that gets caught with a simple posession charge gets months in jail but someone who beats the shit out of children only gets a month, this has got to be the biggest joke ive ever heard in my life. She should be sentenced to death or have life in prison the goverment and court who decided the veedict on this should lose there job. The father should be punished as well for not reporting the inccident. Im very pissedabout this and this is not right at all something else needstobe done about this because this is bullshit.
