The Heritage Center of the Western Pocono Community Library, 131 Pilgrim Way, Brodheadsville is hosting History Expo II on Saturday, October 15, 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Library.

The event, marking William Penn Day, will feature historical groups of Monroe County and surrounding counties.

Namely, The Marx Room of Local History at Easton Area Public Library, Monroe County Archives, Quiet Valley, Fenner, Snyder & Robacker Homestead, Palmerton Area Heritage Center, Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, Monroe County Historical Association, Barrett Township Historical Society, Polk Township Historical Society, Springfield Historical Society …..and many more…..

The Monroe County Historical Association will be bringing its “Selfie Station” and the West End Fire Company #43 will have the 1932 ‘Buffalo’ Fire Truck on display.

This event will also feature the newly acquired 9/11 World Trade Center artifact file number F-0021.068. by The Heritage Center of the Western Pocono Community Library.

There will be many exhibits on display as well as demonstrations, storytelling, reenactments and antique/collectible cars.

Food will be available and admission to be an exhibitor or visitor is FREE!!
