Anyone who goes to Saylorsburg Park in Saylorsburg please be aware of a creep in a silver cavalier.

My husband and I pulled up to the playground and he was standing on the playground equipment with a pair of binoculars watching a woman run on the trail. She was the only other person there plus him until we showed up.

I glared at him and he said "don't worry I'm just playground patrol, it's a federal job ya know"then my husband approached him and said "are you sure? Because most people call the shit you're doing stalking" He then became nervous and started walking back to his car he said "no I just thought I knew that girl". He then got in his car and left.

We walked down the opposite end of the trail and met up with the woman and told her about the creep. She was luckily armed with mace and said she runs this trail every night 4 laps. She also said he started walking behind her and then said " nah you go first" and went back up to his car. That's when we probably showed up.

She thanked us and kept running. Down the trail farther she stopped us again and talked to an elderly couple who also frequent the trail. They said they had seen him hanging around the equipment before and thought it was weird.

Please spread the word. I know so many mom's who bring their children here and women who run this secluded heavily wooded trail. If you see a silver cavalier in the parking lot of the new Saylorsburg Park by the township building please get the license plate number. You could save a life. So glad I didn't choose to take Chelsea for the walk alone.

I have always told my daughter, carry a stick or better yet, don’t walk here alone!!! It’s too isolated. Now my fears are founded! It’s a beautiful park but please, please don’t go alone!

I practice flying my quadcopter there quite frequently and record every second of it so I can review my progress.

I’ll be sure to practice filming suspicious people sitting alone from here on.

If you see me flying feel free to say Hi!

    I’m not a sneaky creep.

And this is the exact reason I do not want Eldred Township putting “Mock Park” in my back yard. Too many creeps and no police. You do not put parks in secluded areas and then expect the neighbors to monitor them.
