CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP: On January 20th, 2018 at about 8:44 pm Barry Counterman was driving in a 1991 Chevrolet K3500 northbound on Rt 209 in Brodheadsville when he brushed against the guide rail on the northbound lane 0.2 miles east of Frable Rd and left the roadway and struck the green, 911 address marker at the First Keystone Community Bank.
He then traveled across the highway and struck a Utility pole in front of the Sunoco Gas Station at 2025 Rt 209 and snapped the pole, he then backed up into the guide wire for the utility pole and then proceeded to drive away from the scene traveling approximately 1.4 miles northbound on Rt 209 before he pulled over.
State Police issued a citation to Barry Counterman for Driving without License PA 75-1501(a).
West End Volunteer Fire Co., West End Ambulance and State Police responded to the scene.
