Mountain Bike Day at West End Regional Park August 5th, 2017 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

The West End Park and Open Space Commission Hosts Mountain Bike Day

Plans are set for Mountain Bike Day on Saturday, August 5th at the West End Regional Park, 578 Evergreen Hollow Rd Brodheadsville. The event will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and there are over 6 miles of trails ready to ride.

This year we have added some new single track trails for your riding pleasure.

We are planning for refreshments, and maybe some giveaways for those attending.

Also, Eric Peterson from Peterson's Ski and Cycle is scheduled to give a free clinic, and answer your biking questions. If you need to rent a bike they can be rented from Peterson's by calling 570-646-9223. You must call in advance as there are no plans at this time to have extra bikes at the park.

Trails range from beginner to expert, with the emphasis being on the beginner and intermediate trails.

All participants must wear helmets.
