Polk solid waste permits available

Polk Township residents can now sign up for solid waste permits for the year beginning April 15. The permits are $90 for the 12-month period and allow residents access to the township’s solid waste and recycling facilities. Both are located next to the township building. Hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Homeowners also have the option to privately contract for curbside pickup. Recycling is mandatory in the township. The waste facility also has a Salvation Army drop-off.
