Update: State Police Call Pocono Shooting Attempted Suicide

POLK TOWNSHIP -- State police call a shooting in Monroe County an attempted suicide.

Troopers say a person was shot in the chest at a home on Little John Drive in Polk Township near Kresgeville shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday.

The victim was taken to the hospital. There is no word on that person's condition.

State police said no charges will be filed.
