The Office of the District Attorney is currently recruiting qualified applicants for Clerical Staff / Investigative Assistant (County Detective Unit)

The Clerical / Investigative Assistant position within the District Attorney's Office works closely with detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division in their day-to-day operations.

This is a non-sworn position.

This position is responsible for day-to-day clerical work of the Criminal Investigations Division, assisting County Detectives as needed, as well as other duties as may be assigned by the Chief County Detective or the District Attorney.

Qualified applicants should be familiar with a variety of office-related software including the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, etc.), and be willing to learn the law enforcement records management system (RMS) utilized by our County Detectives.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by one year of previous experience and / or training involving criminal justice, legal, or secretarial duties; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

This position is 35 hours per week.  The current wage is $11.23 per hour.
