UPDATE: Trump for President signs being removed in the area
On Rt 209 on the corner of Village Edge Dr in Brodheadsville there stood a Big Trump sign and all of a sudden it disappeared. Was it Vandalism? We are also told atleast 2 others have been removed. The towing company near Hilltop also had a big Trump sign which we have been told has been removed.
This is what is now on the sign.
We have learned that Chestnuthill Township had NOTHING to do with the sign removals as stated below by Township Supervisor Christopher Eckert:
Christopher Eckert Bill Doyle - TO ALL POSTERS AND READERS HERE: CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP DID NOT; I REPEAT, DID NOT REMOVE OR ORDER TO REMOVE ANY TRUMP SIGNS OR SIGNS FOR ANY OTHER CANDIDATE. CHESTNUTHILL TOWNSHIP DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE REMOVAL OF THIS SIGN OR OTHERS AND THIS WAS APPARENTLY AN ACT OF VANDALS. PLEASE TELL OTHERS WHO BELIEVE THE TOWNSHIP HAD A HAND IN THIS THAT IT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE.
We are continuing to follow up on this and have reached out to Wayne's Towing and awaiting a call back. We do not have any contact information on the other sign owner on 209 as of yet. If anyone knows the owner please let us know.
We do apologize for suggesting that Chestnuthill Township had anything to do with the sign removals, we reported what we were told and did state that story was un-confirmed at the time of the original writing.

The big huge signed was owed and privately bought by the builder and realtor on the land it sits. I met him and his lovely family on the election day. I don’t remember his name but I am sure if that sign was removed he would of reported it. Contact the GOP republican club they might have a name of this nice man. I now have to leave my house and go see if its really gone. Everyone was so proud and honored the Trump sign made such a big statement.
I happened to be driving home from GOP HQ one night earlier this week when the owner, Greg, was outside of the Titan Homes office. His sign had just been stolen that day & he was spray-painting the message that you see in the picture. I stopped and introduced myself as Chairman of the Monroe County Republican Committee. He told me that vandals had stole the sign; but, he would replace them. He also informed me that a lot of people stop in the office there because they think it is a Trump campaign HQ; so, he bought some Trump bumper stickers to hand out to visitor at his own expense. Greg also personally purchased the signs that were stolen. They were not given to him by the campaign. Someone trespassed on his land and stole his personal property.
