Woman charged with sex with minor

SAYLORSBURG − A woman is charged with having sex with a boy in 2015, when the boy was 14 and she was 23, at the Hamilton Township home of a man now facing child-raping and child pornography charges.

Anna Lynn Durbin, 25, is charged with statutory sexual assault, corrupting a minor and indecently assaulting a person under age 16. Durbin was placed in Monroe County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 bail and is awaiting a district court hearing.

In June 2016, state Attorney General’s Office agents arrested David Parker, 38, in Hamilton Township on child porn charges. Since then, Parker has been charged with raping a child in Hamilton Township and Bucks County and conspiracy to raping a child in Luzerne County.

Locked up in lieu of bail and awaiting district court hearings in these various cases, Parker, when arrested, told agents he had been sexually interested in boys for the past 10 years or so. In this case involving Durbin, Parker admitted to having sexual contact with one boy who was 14 at the time of Parker’s arrest.

Agents identified and interviewed the boy with his mother present at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania. When the boy was under age 13, Parker took him to other residences where Parker had sexual contact with both the boy and other adults, the boy said.

Parker additionally told agents a friend later identified as Durbin likewise had sexual contact with the boy. Agents tracked Durbin to Illinois.

In February, agents conducted another interview with the boy, who confirmed knowing Durbin. When the boy spent nights at Parker’s home, Durbin usually slept with Parker and his girlfriend, but occasionally slept beside the boy in the same bed, the boy said.

On one occasion, Durbin told the boy she knew what Parker had done to him and asked, “You want a shot with me? ” the boy told agents. He said Durbin asked a few more times until he finally let her have sex with him without a condom.

He then identified Durbin in a photo lineup.

When agents interviewed Durbin in Illinois in May, she said she had met Parker online and started dating him long-distance. Durbin said she stayed with Parker and his girlfriend at Parker’s home in October 2015 and that Parker instructed her to sleep with the boy.

Durbin said she had feelings for the boy and liked him. She admitted to having sex with him without a condom, saying she felt bad about it afterward.
